Here is a bull we added to our herdbull battery yesterday. We got him at the Feddes/CT Red Angus bull Sale. He was raised by C-T Red Angus. He is a 5.5 frame and out of a super cow family. We got walking rights, and a semen interest, while ABS and Lucht Red Angus both got a semen interest as well.

BRG, I like his type!

Do we get to see a pic of his feet, he looks nice and upright. Would like to see his toes from the front.

Her production:

This was her second calf. She has a 96 birth ratio and a 107 weaning and 108 yearling ratio, and she has a 104 MPPA, while his maternal grand dam has a 103 MPPA as well. This is C-T's top cow line out there.

Here is a photo of his dam. I believe this photo was taken with her first calf at side. It isn't the greatest photo, but it gives you an idea of what her udder is like and that she is built right. Lucht Red Angus has a full sister to her in his pasture as well. Very well made cows that can do it on their own.

I don't have any feet photos. Feet are very important to me, he and his cow family have great feet. Now on his sires side, a couple generations back, their has been some feet issues, but I think that his and his cow family are made well enough that their won't be any issues.

I like the cows structure. Like you say her bag and teats are good. What is her weight? Also what would you recommend this bull be used on? and for what?

He has a smooth shoulder, very deep in the rib and flank area, with good muscle structure which runs down his legs more than most. I think he could be used on heifers, but we plan on using him on our bigger cows, or cows than need a little more rib. In my opinion, I wouldn't want to use him on a smaller framed cow.

He's really soggy. I like the way his hind leg muscle goes almost all the way down to the hock.
He's fancy!

Nice bull BRG. He stands up good on his feet and has some heel. Good rib shape too. Good luck with him!

Thanks everyone. He will be available for use through ABS after June, as long as he jumps through all of the semen hoops.

He is a 5.5 frame - I do have a video on my computer, but I don't know how to post it on here. I can email it to you if you would like.
