Now that the board is back I can post a few updated photos of the little girl that we are adopting into our family. Hopefully this time next year I will have a little helper again to give me a hand with the cows and watch gates so I do not have to get off the tractor all the time and open and close them each time I go through. The breeder sent me these last week, she actually is starting to look like a border collie now.. We are hoping to pick her up on the 23rd of this month if all goes well and the weather cooperates, it will be a full days travel and I still have to figure out what to do about my other pets and the cattle .

She is 4 weeks old here.

She is just adorable and you will love her, how could you not love that face?? I hope she turns out to be a good helper for you too. Decide on a name yet? Let me put in one more plug for Hillsdown Holly.

She's adorable! Definitely has that "look" to her. Hopefully another great helper for many years to come. Nothing beats having a puppy (or a whole litter of 'em) around!

Since I was a kid, my favorite gifts have always been 4 legged babies ~ doesn't matter what kind. What a great gift for you and yours!
Have you picked a name yet?
