Just wondering what you guys think..
Puppy came out of heat last Sunday..
and her teats are still swollen..
Think she could be pregnant or not??

Was she exposed to a male? Did you see a tie? When you mean out of heat, meaning did the blood stop? Bitches are generally in heat, and be bred as late as day 27, with that said most bitches stay in heat for 21 days. The general most fertile days are 9-14 days into the heat cycle. You can do an ultrasound at day 30-36 from the day of the tie. Most pregnancies last 63 days.

Swollen can mean something as simple as still elevated hormones or experiencing a false pregancy.

Someone let her outside without going out there with her, and there is a male that runs around, that isn't fixed. As far as I know, nobody saw the tie. Yes, I meant stopped bleeding.

THere was a shot you could have got for the dog but it had to be done with in 2 days.

Somse dogs just look like that. I have a gyp bulldog that does the same thing any time she is close to coming into heat.

Usually right after the discharge stops that is when they ARE ready to breed but seems to early for the tits to be swollen. Never the less, you probably gonna be a grandmother . :lol2: :lol2:

Use to have a daschund that we never allowed to have pups but around 60 days after heat she would start looking for a place to have he puppies and start giving milk. ...Was sort of sad.

When the blood stops is when they are ready to bleed.
Personally I think it is waaay too early for her tits to be swollen with milk.
Our dog doesnt swell up until a week before she has them.
But I guess every dog is different.
