Hello Dear Hereford Friends,

I was wondering what Hereford breeders thought of the MC Ranger 9615 bull? He has passed on now, died this past spring 2007 at LaGrand. I always thought highly of the bull, but some have found holes in the calves. What I mean by "holes" is not enough preformance or muscle, but what I have observed with my own eyes is one darn good bull. He looks thick and beefy. Never laid my eyes on that bull. So, I am out here seeing who has given this bull a shot? Let me know and thanks everyone!

Got a couple of his granddaughters. Looking forward to seeing what they will throw and raise next year. #650 had a ribeye measuring 14".
They have both been bred to a Ribstone bull.
Hadn't heard that he had died.

Not impressed with many of his offspring. Based on his carcass merits he should be good commercially for feeder cattle. His daddy was excellent for siring some outstanding "looking" sons, but not all of them performed how you would think they would. Suppose that's what happens when many of the notable sons were show bulls, and not just good breed bulls. I would choose a different 832W son, but that is my own opinion
