Bought one yesterday at farm auction. $1000 ($737 US). Any good? It's about as mint shape as you can get for 40 year old implement, just needs tires and hoses due to age.
8 shanks. Enough for my needs. Just want it to pull out rock up to 8" deep.
Good older chisel plow. Fairly good trash clearance, only issue in rocks maybe breaking shanks. IIRC replacement shanks for a 1610 will fit and are thicker. The 1600 I used to have would start to hop around above 6mph.
I have something similar but a different brand I think it is International. It is a great no nonsense plough I have lots of rocks and tree roots and the tines just kick up and ride over them. I haven't broken any yet with a lot of abuse. It had the slide down spring steel points but most have been replaced with bolt on heavier points now due to wear and breaking a few.
