Open heifers

Howdy! Does anybody have any idea what a commercial, open, 800 lbs beef heifer is selling for?

I think that it is going to depend on where your at and the breed.......
You can check the sale barn reports in your area for a start, then quality and breed variables would be considered.

We are selling ours for 1200 to 1500...they wont be 800 pounds but will be average 600.

At the sale barn here they're in the $2/lb area for red baldies.
