Olympia Calves!

i have a heifer starting to bag up. i'm guessing shes 2 weeks off. at least 2, maybe 3.i think she'll calve before Ophelia does. anyone want to make a bet on when she'll calve or if she'll beat Ophelia?

i wrote that on friday Sept. 16th. Olympia calved today. she had a yellow beefmaster bull calf.

the owner is pretty nonchalant about it all. the owner doesnt get excited about much anymore. the owner's thoughts on most matters can best be summed up as "whatever." sorry, no cigars at this time.

My husband calls those "bayonet" plants...can't get rid of them here, tough as nails! What are they anyway?

Very few open cows or hfrs will calve until after they are bred. Hope just doesn't get it.

that plant is Yucca. some people around here also call it "BearGrass", its in the Agave family
