Old friend

Was looking on craigslist tonight and found some cows I liked. It would be a 3 hour trip each way but I call the number. After talking a few minutes I found out he was an old friend I had not seen in years. Going to see the cows and him on Saturday. What a suprise to both him and me.
Anyway the cows are Braunvieh's coming with their second calves. Yes I know all the talk but the wife has wanted a few of them for several years. Seeing that I usually buy about 400-500 head a year I guess she can have some that she likes.
The cows are in Athens, TN. Anyone near there?

Some years ago I bought a cow 1/2 charlois 1/2 brown swiss --AI her to a braunvieh-----best lookin calf I ever raised ----brought top dollar at the auction even with brown swiss markings
