I don't think you have thought about the fact that if you move the signs the deer won't know where to cross. Therefore, they'll be lost in the woods and wander for days. There's nothing worse than confused deer.

I think we could have put the stimulus money to better use by employing manned deer crossing guards in these areas. Solar and ethanol powered crossing lights would be a good option too.

Gonna get me a Deer Crossing sign or 2 and put 'em on my long driveway in sight of my front porch. No more walking the woods or climbing up in a tree stand for me, as they'll walk right out into plain view and range of my SKS all on their own. I’m surprised she didn’t say how dumb the county and state workers were for putting the signs facing the wrong way and that the cause of her accidents were from the deer not being able to read them as they approached a highway.

My wife gets all bent out of shape over that one... Every time we drive past a slow children playing sign I can't help but comment on how normal and happy they look.
I also have a hard time refraining from derogetory comments about the greenies and their anti progress agenda every time we pass one of those obnoxious orange end road work signs that they put up. I guess they don't have the guts to protest in the construction zone itself... cowards.

Even if they did have the guts, they'd still go back home to their nice wooden built homes afterwards. They already got their houses built from murdered trees--hey just gripe about anyone else building one.

It's kinda like all those folks on TV that constantly whine about the world being overpopulated. Talk's cheap.
I ain't never once seen one of em follow their own advice and just off himself to decrease the population, but they dang sure whine about everybody else continue to be breathing air. I guess charity really doesn't begin at home after all.
