What horse power is the of the 8.1 and the cubic inch displacement.

Don't know on the horsepower Larry, but if you know how many liters you have, multiply that by 61.02545. For the 8.1 that would equal 494.3 cubic inches. Hope this helps.

I think it's is actually a 496 cubic inch engine with 335 horsepower. Least that is what I remember when I got mine in 01'.

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting? Loaded and unloaded if you know.

I've got the 6.0 and have been told there's not much difference in mpg between the 6.0 and 8.1.
