off feed

I have a yearling heifer that went off feed about 2 days ago. She doesn't look sick but just wants to lay around the barn. What should I look for? Suggested treatment? At what point do I call the vet?

normal breathing?
what was she eating before?
recent change of feed?
is she a recent purchase?
is she with other cows?
does she have free choice feed?

Lot of variables in this equation... we need more information.
