I have one cow with one bottle teat, and a couple cows with two bottle teats. The remaining teats look small and practical. :?: What is the risk in retaining a cow like this?

Bred to decent bull should correct it. Have one cow, big teats in front, perfect tiny in back. Daughter had perfect teats all of the way around, but came up open after one calf, so she is going in the freezer. Always keep daughters off big teat cows if that is their only issue. Many problems correct in one generation or two - again if bred to decent bulls - not some average schmuck.

If it's just one or 2 and they aren;t paired it's likely an injury or damage not genetic.

Does an odd teat make them worth much less? So long as teat size is acceptable on the other 4?
The only time an odd teat causes a problem is for dairy cows with milking machines. And then only if the odd teat interferes with the milker being attached.
