I've landed myself in the hospital "for observation." It's nothing serious, just a precaution after a serious surgery a while back.

I thought I'd use the time to show off the temperament of my baby heifer, Bubby.

I'm not sure how or when she figured out she's mine, but it sure looks like she has.

As for me, I'll probably be home tonight and back to work tomorrow. I've got to get back of calf watch!

Well good golly Miss Molly! I hope it's not serious. Don't do anything stupid. Take care of yourself…..you can't take care of your babies very well if you ain't well.
Remember; ME FIRST!
Then get on with business.
I did come home last night, but I took the day for myself. My chickens looked a little puny, so I spent time in their yard, letting them forage little longer than usual. Peggy Bundy has decided she's more of a petting chicken than a pecking chicken. She sat in my lap a long time.

Took sometime to check on Spot this evening. She looks a little confused to be with the nurse cows and calves. But she looks perfectly on schedule so far.

Back to work tomorrow... Looking forward to seeing Bubby.

I'm glad you're back home, and taking a day off.
