I don't see why you feel the need to point out that it has nothing to do with politics. He was negligent in protecting information that his position put him in charge of and our safety as a nation was compromised because of it. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that he should be in prison instead of running free and having the oppertunity to run for public office if he chose to do so.

CP, my point is this is what your children shouldn't do if they want to move up the ladder and make a career in the military. If you recall, our symbol of justice is a lady and she is blindfolded and holding scales that are even. This means that under the eyes of our justice system everyone is treated equally only its just that some are more equal than others. This poor guy will never be able to be promoted and he could never ever become commander and chief.

Seems to me the scales might be weighted in favor of a elite few now and then.
