I have seen a very nice buck seven times this year and can't get the drop on him.
Yesterday he stood and watched me open and close the gate into the back woods.
When I turned around there he was,
soon as I cocked that Hawken rifle he was gone through the thicket. He has till Sunday then I picking up my 28 gauge and chasing limb rats to heck with him.

I haven't even bought a license this year. Can't believe that but its true. Not even dove hunting. Nothing.

I am sitting a stand right now thinking about a 50 cal ball through him and sausage biscuits with some ribbon cane syrup.
So far nothing but does.
