question:?: the farmers moved the cows to my side of the farm for calving, and since i am the one that checks them all througout the day, while i was out i noticed a calf that is in need of some help. after talking to the farmers i was told he was a calf from late in the fall of 06, and his mother dried up and he has been fending for himself, but they are not sure for how long. The farmers said they werent goin to be able to do much to help him but i could have him if i thought i could get him better. he is losing his hair, and is very very thin, and seems to have either gotten something in his eye, or has an infection. what causes loss of hair? how can it be treated, could this all be from malnutrition, could proper feed and vitamins fix him, and is this calf something i should take on. (i already have one that i brought back from death this year, i dont want the ill one in with the one i worked so hard to get healthy) I'm not the kind of girl that can just let a calf go without trying however funds could be a problem i need y'alls help i'm torn
