I was at a summer conference put on by the New England Grazing Network this past year. Aside from the driving/touring I was able to enjoy going to and from home to the conference, the workshop was great. Dale Strictler was the primary presenter then. He is based out of Nebraska (Or Kansas?) but was a very high caliber presenter at that conference. I expect more great information to be shared at this conference as well.

The conference was very well attended. The Northeast has multiple, active livestock associations that are able to provide lots of different avenues of education and assistance to the producer. I was able to attend 8 separate sessions/presentations. Troy Bishop, for those of you who know of him, was present and was a presenter. He was also representing NatGLC. Noble Research Institute was represented there and was presenting. Noble had two back to back presentations that were3 very well attended with standing room only with attendees standing in the hallway as the room was too small. There was a much bigger room with a different session that had very few people in it. I hear that session was good as well. I will have to watch that recording which is available to me as an attendee. Noble is giving consideration to presenting classes in their education series in NH and PA now as a result of the conference. I have also indicated to them there may be an interest in KY and TN, possibly around Louisville and Nashville.
