And it's 12 degrees. It was eight degrees when the sun came up this morning. I think the record for the low temp last night was six degrees, so we probably didn't set a new record. But that's cold enough. The sun's out, the wind has slowed down from yesterday. Cows are turned broadside toward the sun, soaking up the rays. They're saying we'll be back up to 55 degrees by Monday. I'm looking forward to that. :nod:

it was 16 this am with a wc of 1.i checked the temp a few mins ago its 24 with a wc of 14 at 1:10pm.

Wind 5-10 and 35 deg at 1:47 pm. Still have some remaining snow drifts here from December 24.
Too bloody cold for ME! I do best in 75-90 deg weather, calm wind, low humidity...
I have TEXAS genetics...3 generations...we don't do COLD! LOL!
Really feel sorry for the other people in the USA and foreign countries who are really suffering from this global cold (warming?)... :frowns:

It was freakin' cold...and has been all day...especially with the wind blowin' GAWD knows how many mph(s) while I was putting out hay...and cubes...and bustin' ice on the troughs...like I did yesterday & today...poor little ole me...

Thursday was bad here because we got 6-8 in of snow and then the winds picked up. Wasn't terribly cold though, around 20 above. When things cleared up yesterday the temps dropped. Minus 8 this morning but very little wind, so it doesn't feel too bad the first few minutes. Still too cold for these old bones. I worked outside pretty much my whole life up until a couple of years ago. Thankful I'm inside most of the time now.

Van I had 14below at 430 this morning about 35 miles west of you :shock: They say we will be above freezing the middle of next week so I guess things are looking up
