Where do you get tetanus toxoid vaccine these days? Can't find it anywhere.

Covexin 8 contains the toxoid for tetani. It is readily available.

Colorado Serum makes a one way. Jeffers list it if you are looking for only a one way.

Just picked mine up from my vet. Haven't seen it anywhere else in quite some time. Don't need any currently but jumped on extra when I saw my vet just got some in.

Same applies to Calvary 8 way as well. IMO the latter is much preferred as the dosage is 2 cc's as opposed to the former's 5 cc.

Our local feed co-op carries it. There were some problems getting the anti-toxin in this spring. None of the online farm/vet supplies had it either. But that has been resolved. The "date" on it is usually about 18 months to 2 years out, so I try to keep a couple of bottles in the fridge and rotate them. Comes in single dose and 10 dose. We use it on any we band with the "big bander" and even on some of the ones that we use the little "cheerios" bands on if they have a little bit larger set of testicles. Also, we try really hard to only band when the sign is in the thighs going into the feet, or on the last quarter going to the new moon. Less blodd flow and have not had trouble when we follow that guideline.
