I have no doubt an adult could have written that. It's really amazing how many people have absolutely NO idea where their food comes from... not a clue. Children should be educated as to where their food comes from so ideas and ads like the one posted do not become ...the norm.

My own sister, the one with the masters degree in international business who grew up on the same farm that I did, told me once that I needed to get out of agriculture and get into something important with a real future. She told me that farming is a waste of time and space and water since if she wanted groceries all she had to do was drive to the store and buy them... If ignorance is bliss then she's a happy girl. :nod:

It is sad that people can think like this in 2011. I remember when I was teaching a class of children didn't know where their food came from, when asked they all said the Supermarket, Milkman and Mum and Dad. Also a few of them had never seen the Sea or Ocean and we only live about 30 mins drive away. More field trips are required to take the Children out, but with all the red tape and money that it takes now that seems to be out of the running. So looks like we will have quite a few food morons around for sometime. :2cents:
