NJAS and show equipment

Hi is anyone else going to NJAS? I am with Valentine, she will be shown as a cow calf pair(baby due on June 1st) It will be my 1st show on my own, my mom is coming but just to drive me there and she doesn't want me staying on my own lol, but she doesn't have much experiance with livestock showing.

I don't have any show equipment like panels and such or fans. Will I be okay without them or should I borrow or buy some? I know fans would be nice at that time of year but she will be shown slicked so it will not ba a major problem if I don't have one.

any tips?

ive seen people without fans or panels. there will probably be enough fans runnin in there to keep her cool anyway if thats what your worried about. and if its hair, shes slicked, you really dont want it to be popped out anyway. sounds like your experienced enough to go on your own. im somewhat in the same position you are, but its my first show! im so bummed that my dad may not be able to make it. ill have other family there, but they dont know about showin. but i think im just gonna start bawlin or somethin over dramatic to make my dad feel like he has to go. i know that mean and pretty rude and pathetic, but its my first show! anyway sorry about goin on about myself.good luck and have fun! tell how ya do too.

I am real close to you, what show are you planning on attending? You have some of the most experienced knowledgeable people in the nation right in your back yard do not be afraid to ask for help.
