Woke up to an inch of rain in the gauge yesterday morning after no substantial rain fall in 5+ weeks and it's 63 this morning! What a way to end July and start August here in Texas!! Sign me up for this every year. The grass is deep, the tanks are full and the cows are fat. Thank the good Lord!

Amen to that!

We managed to get 4/10ths several days ago and another 1/10th yesterday. Light show last night would have shamed a 70’s Disco. Got nothing.

Beautiful day here as well.
Rotated cows to 10 fresh acres this morning. With all the rain the grass is 3 feet tall. Should've made a picture, but it's mostly JG. They were in heaven.
Heads down grazing along....

I had 2.8" Friday night and into Saturday morning. I talked to a friend who lives about 8 miles away and he got less than 1/2".
