NHL Deadline trades comments

I think the St. Louis Blues did pretty well at the trading deadline. They got two first round picks and possibly three for a player who is aging, on down side of his career, and who was a free agent. Then turned around and got more picks for another one. If they draft good they made a good deal. If they draft bad, still no major loss to them.

The blues are definitely retooling. Now they have to use those picks well. I wonder about buffalo they are getting some injuries and miller doesn't seem as good since they traded biron. He has it in him but time will tell. I think crosby could have played anywhere it wouldn't mattered but the time int the Q helped.
