NFL draft thoughts

GB, I have given up on giving much serious thought to what every so called NFL expert has to say about the draft. With that said, Winston's lawyer sure didn't help him with his statement about Winston basically not being mature enough for the NFL. I think it's a toss up for him or Mariota going to the Buc's. I think while Chip Kelly would love to have Mariota there, no way he's going to mortgage the farm to get him. I think Houston wants him and if Mariota is gone by their pick they will grab Winston. I think because of Crab Boy's lawyer's comment Winston may fall, but then again it may have been a ploy to get Winston on a better team ........ But then again why not just pull an Elway? Too many opinions and voices to settle, although I would love to see Mariota in Philly, I don't think it will happen.

Houston will not fork over the $$ for either of them, even on a one year rookie deal. Both owner and GM are so tight farts come out one molecule at a time.
Houston already has QBs....
Tom Savage
Brian Hoyer
Ryan Mallett

Brett Hundley (UCLA qb 3 yrs nearly 10,000 yards) is rumored to be on their draft shoppng list--him, they can afford and he was in Houston last week for a pre-draft meeting with the Texans.
He can run and pass.

Bryce Petty (Baylor qb last year) is another outside chance--- outside because lots of teams are looking hard at him, including Jets, Bills, and Cowboys. I look for Dallas to draft him if he's still available to them.

That's good to hear about Houston, TB may still jump on Winston being a local kid. I wouldn't mind seeing Moriota fall a few and giving a better caliber team a shot at him. Last time he was under center in a game was highschool and that was only part of the game ..... He only started as a senior in highschool.

I think Winston will go to TB. Not sure where Mariota is going hopefully somewhere he can sit he is not ready to start. I think Hundley goes late first so a team can get the 5th year option on him, and I think if he gets the right coaching will be the best QB in this draft. Grayson is a wildcard I think the kid is talented but needs to sit he is a project with a lot of upside. Petty I don't want anything to do with him. I hope you are wrong GB keep Petty far away from my Cowboys that kid has bust written all over him. I would love to have Leonard Williams that kid is going to be a beast the Titans will regret it if they pass on him. Gurley is the best back I have seen since AP if he recovers from the injuries.

Mariota in Ealgles uniform? Forget it.
Philly will sign their new QB tomorrow. Tim Tebow.

Tebow, nearly two years removed from his last NFL experience (on the training camp roster of the New England Patriots) will sign a contract with Chip Kelly's Eagles on Monday, and take part in the Eagles' offseason program, according to a report from Fox Sports.

Tebow worked out for the Eagles last month, so the Eagles have at least some idea of what sort of shape Tebow will be in when he arrives. They've gotten a glimpse of what his throwing motion looks like after extensive work with private quarterback coach Tom House. And they've talked to him enough to know what sort of man they'll be adding to their locker room.
