Holy cow! A Brazilian man is dead after a 3,000-pound bovine fell through the roof of his bedroom.

Joao Maria de Souza, 45, was asleep next to his wife when the cow, believed to have escaped from a nearby farm, stepped onto the roof after grazing on a hill behind their home and came crashing down, crushing him to death.

His wife -- and the cow -- were unharmed, according to the Telegraph.

Souza survived the initial impact, but died at the hospital the next day from internal bleeding.

His family claims he had to wait too long to see a doctor.

"Being crushed by a cow in your bed is the last way you expect to leave this earth," his brother told The Independent. "But in my view it wasn't the cow that killed our Joao, it was the unacceptable time he spent waiting to be examined."

Surprisingly, this is the third time a cow has crashed through a roof in the area.
3 rd time? I'd move.
3000lb cow? I think the world's heaviest bovine is england's Chili and is considered an anomaly at 3500lbs.
