hi, i'm lachlan (as u prolly all now) and i want breed my own cow, from a weaner into a cow, and i was wondering what breed of cow i should get. I am thinking of a belmont red but my parents reccomend a Brahman, any suggestions??

Where is Rockhampton? We really can't recommend a breed. It all depends on your area. What you would have a market for selling. Do you want to raise breeding stock out of your new calf or do you want her to raise a calf to put in the freezer?
