Wife washed my Iphone (and forgot to dry it) i am undecided on whether to replace it with another Iphone or a Samsung running Android. Anyone want to express their opinion to help me with my decision. I am with AT&T with no option to upgrade at this time. Thanks!

Just got the iphone 4. Couldnt justify paying another 100 just for the Siri
First iphone coming from the blackberry junk. Looked hard at the droid platform and what it really came down to for me was virus exposure. Ms and dos stuff is far more susceptible to attacks than mac based because the hackers and virus writers write the files for the ms based stuff. Not so much for the apple and mac based. That is likely to change in the future

I've had the HTC Droid Incredible for about a year and a half. Heck it does more than I can even learn. No need to even consider "upgrading" for a long time.

When did anything become so important that we need to have instant communication everywhere? I have an old fasioned cell phone (not a bag phone) and use it for 2 reasons. 1) long distance calls cost an arm and a leg and folks on the next road east of us is long distance, 2) because it stores the numbers so I don;t have to try to remember them.

I have every single customer in my phone. Some 1600 of em with names adresses and notes of what was done. My phone is more of a tool to me. I invoice customers on it, email them. Etc
Makes me more productive

If I were going to get a new phone, this would be it  :

A cold six-pack will do the same thing. ;-)

Id have you give me a call TB to discuss the matter but your finger would get worn out on that rotary phone. Long distance and all being so many numbers. Most of em on the far side of the dial :cowboy:

I had the droid incredible until a week ago . I upgraded to the I phone 4 . There is no comparison. The droid was like an Atari vs a computer .

So true....I have no idea what half the stuff on it is so the last thing I need is another phone with MORE things to do.

I prefer the iPhone to droids. Have had two different droids and switching over was an amazing idea, won't go back anytime soon. You have less free apps in the app store, but that's just because the store hasn't been flooded with stupid pointless apps.

The big wireless companies only make these phones to last for about 2 years, then hound you to upgrade. My sons phone, is not in good shape, but mine which is the same model as his, is going strong, and its been over 2 years.I think its a gimmick, they make the phones cheap, get you on the contract, so every 2 years ya got to resign up.
