Well, during the Civil War you could buy your way out if you had money. Money has always been a great determining factor in politics. Heck, I don't have 5k now that I could pay if I had to. Not in anything liquid, anyway. I guess I'd be selling stuff or going back to my country of origin. And easy payment plans on amnesty? Who ever heard of such. I know people who just stopped paying their student loans from the Fed and nothing happened. These are citizens with permamant addresses. How are you gonna keep up with load payments for people who have the ability to move around and disappear? Who can keep up with a migrant farm worker?

I am with another thread. Give them a cow and the government will know every movement they make!

Easy monthly payment plan...sounds like a tote the note used care lot. The point system....sounds like kids in school when they get detention. Yet, this is a bill in Congress!
