That incident was not at either of the schools with which I am associated. Thank goodness. That being said, teachers are human and subject to the stupid choices that humans sometimes make. There should be consequences of their actions, though. What gets to me is the increasing number of female teachers that are having relationships with young men they teach. And I have to ask myself, male or female: What do these adults see in these children??? I can't think of them, and some of the staff here, as anything but children. I'm old enough to be their mother. That's' depressing when I think that this includes some of the teachers!!! The teacher in question, John, was a coach. I don't know what else he taught. A coach where my older son went to school, again, a different school, had child porn on his computer. He taught at the junior high. My son dated his daughter for two years. They had a nice home, went to church, had straight A students for kids, and were very strict about the places that my son was allowed to take their daughter. There was usually family in tow on their dates. I liked it. I thought it was a good way to parent these days. Little did I know... He not only was fired, but faces criminal charges. His daughters had to drop out of college and the youngest child is still in school. How horrible for them all. It destroyed that family.
