Today while driving to the ranch on I-80 west of Rawlins I seen a truck with two band new tractors with steel wheels. I'm thinking that they were just to transport them to some dealer somewhere. There were no traction ribs, and unpainted new steel. I wish I could have taken a picture, but I was driving. It looked really odd.

Could be just for transport if they were big tractors or could be they will be track machines and they will put the belts on at the dealership to keep transport width down. Around here we are getting some Amish and a couple of them have bought brand new MFWD tractors and put steel wheels on them.

Looking at the new Kubota tractors on the lot a few days ago I noticed the new tractors had low profile tires/wheels standard now. Kinda funny looking as you sure want be able to get much fluid in the tires for added weight.
