After bringing calves home, how long should I wait to feed? I read on here that you should let them become adjusted to the new enviroment.

We put feed in front of them as they come of the truck/trailer. But it depends on how big they are.

I have feed and water in front of them, but not sure they know what to do with it. My question is with milk replacer, after you bring them home how many hours do you wait before milk?

When we bring a baby calf home, we will feed them right away if they are hungry, depends when they were last fed. I wouldn't worry about letting them adjust, as they have enough stress on them without going hungry too.

If you're buying them right off the farm ask when they were fed last and if they are still on the bottle or trained for a bucket if they were fed in the morning wait till late afternoon or early evening. If they were'nt fed feed them when you get them home. If they are still on a bottle I give them the botttle for the first feeding then the next day I'll train them on the bucket.

I feed the calf immediately, just be careful how much if you have no history on the calf or you risk scours.
