We ventured in to some new territory this week and purchased our first Red Angus. He is a spring of 2014 bull, and I am pretty excited to get him home. What y'all think?

He looks good. Has he been on cows or just a virgin 2 year old.
The breeder has his weanling daughters on the farm and they are very nice.

Thanks all for the comments!

I follow RedAngus closely and Hamley is popular with commercial producers. I like your bull's rear end: that is sometimes a weakness with AR's IMO. He has great capacity and hearth girth so should be efficient and long lived.

I hope you are right CG. He reminds me of one of my Limi bulls at that same age. I'm hoping he knicks with our cows the same way.

He is one of the really good RA bulls. I purchased a few heifers last fall and the jury is still out on them. I would like to see them a little heavier muscled time will tell. I bred them to Sensational.
