The heifers are from a sale in plant city they were cheap an decent looking calves so we got them. I don't think they would do much in our show down here but i thought with their breed lines they would make good breeding heifers. and there not halter broke yet either. So these will be the first that ive had to break in .... 5 years.(all the calves from the alabama sales are already broke!)

he's standing alot better on his front end now that we set up blocks when he eats he has to push his front feet under him. Oh and his name is BuckWheat

Please critcise them all.

Both heifers are pretty decent and should do well if you breed them to the right bull. I'd like to see a little more bone on the both of them, though and maybe a little more flank on the first one, though it may just fill out with age. The first one also looks like she's a got a little bit of a roach back but that could just be the pic. All in all they should do alright with the right bull. Plan on breeding them to a clubby bull?

The steer looks nice. Good luck with him. I'd like to deepen him in his flank but again with more feed that may fill out some.

All in all, nice calves and good luck with all of them! :) Keep us updated.

The first heifer dose have a bit of a roach back but not bad and the clip job on her isn't the best either. but yes i do hope they get a little more flank but i will give them both one thing there femine. but we use the same bull on all of our first time heifers hes a small angus bull and he covers well and he has a high calving ease.
