When I was shopping this heifer, I thought I heard "New Day" when I was being told the sire. I named her "New Day". The Boyd farm is a very short distance from me. I perk up when I hear Boyd. I cannot hear myself fart so my head fills in what my ears miss. Grandsire on the Dam's side is a Boyd bull, Beef Maker. Her Sire is JF Milestone 999W, Heifer is Reg # 2764848.
This was taken on her first birthday:

Dang, somebody deleted the ad for the five legged angus calf for $300.

Ron,
My wife has been chasing the current owners of Milestone, trying to get 'em to sell some semen at a reasonable price for commercial use. No luck on that front, yet. But she keeps pushing.
She really likes his looks - and his WW epd is off the scale! She wants heavy weaning weights and a white/blaze face.
