Been very wet muddy the past few months, noticed a few cows bagging up an thier back end all mucusy. So I seperated them and took em to the clean pasture 2 days ago. Sure am glad I did because one had calved this morning.

Bull calf out of my hereford bull. Dame is 3/4 hereford 1/4 brahma.
First year I had been wanting all hiefers and got only bull calves.

She has a lot of white for a Hereford, but its not uncommon for a Hereford to have that much white either, or, at least it didn't used to be, lol.

Thanks all for the compliments! Her momma was an f1 hereford/brahman, I put my old hereford bull on her and this is what came out. I was gonna sell her when I got my new bull, but I thought Id take a chance and see what comes out.

A very pretty pair. We are getting bulls now from the ones we wanted to have heifers. But I am thankful they are alive and well.

Finally stop raining for a few days and got to take a few more pics.
