This is the little dairy steer (bottle calf) I'll be taking to county fair in April. I'm going to keep him for next year too since he's pretty good. Our dairy steers turn out to be monsters after they hit 14 months.
He's a 11/14/06 steer so he's a little small yet but will be 5 months the day I show him. He's getting grower and grass/alfalfa mix hay. Last time I weighed him (maybe 6 weeks ago he was 345) doesnt look it but he is.

I know he's a little cow hocked, not as bad as the picture shows. He hasnt quite got down setting up right but pretty good for how long I've been working with him.

That Shorty didnt turn out as good looking a I thought he would.

We got this guy after all our Oct. calves and he looked like crap until a month old and started looking like a showy boy. So I picked him. I think he's decent, plus he's cute. :)
