Well it seems like the airlines are gonna lock down the restrooms an hour before landing the plane. Old mother nature is going to have a say about that, how many times have you been driving down the highway and all a sudden that old cramp hits you, and you start lookin for a place to go and the closer you get to a place the worst the cramp gets and you know you ain't gonna make it. I believe that old unloadin chute at that airplane is gonna look like the alleyway goin into the sale barn and gonna stink a lot worse, because it's just human nature if you tell a person they ain't got a place to go , they gonna haf ta go. Now the only solution to this problem is for everyone to wear a diaper onto that airplane. Now I don't know if that diaper is gonna hold that smell in but at least it won't be runnin down your leg. Now somthin else when you are a loadin onto that plane they gonna check you for a bomb and because of that extra paddin around your middle thay gonna have to check your diaper for a bomb. One rule leads to another, that's one thing our forefathers didn't have to worry about where to crap.

Cowboy, wonder what they plan to do with these "big busted" women with the huge boob implants? No telling what's in those implants.

I think the other sensible solution would be for TSA not to post their policy and procedures on the internet like they did a couple of weeks ago. Informing everyone what gets checked and what does not was rather stupid. JMHO I've always considered secret stuff to be like a hand of cards - YOU DON'T SHOW YOUR HAND TO YOUR OPPONENT.

I like that one. Got another idea. How bout we just not let the crazies on the airplane? This latest situation has a lot of similarities to Killeen. You'd think we could see a pattern of who our enemy is after this many years.

I agree. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck its a duck. Common sense not profiling.

Perhaps we should phone the TSA and the DOD and let them know we've noticed a pattern that they might want to take a look at...

To re-visit an old saying...

"If you have time to spare...go by air"...lol.

I haven't flown commercial since mid 1980's, when I was flying out of state for job interviews at the time. Also, in the 1970's I flew my own plane and didn't have to worry about terrorists...lol.

NOW...

Assuming "good" weather...one can probably expect 3 to 6 hours down time to fly out of somewhere (assuming your airport is in your city and not "commute" traveling). Then, the FAA has mandated that airlines can "kidnap" passengers up to 3 hours on the Tarmac before they are able to de-plane. Nothing like 8 to 12 hours to make a 1 hour flight...could drive it in that time...LOL!

For me...bottomline...no intentions of flying anywhere, even for a funeral...body will keep in refrigerator...LOL. Add to that, obnoxious passengers, out of control kids, stuck in a middle seat between two obese passengers, terrorists, limited food and restroom facilities, no smoking rule, long check-in security lines/time, possible rental car at destination, etc.

JMO ;-)

Bill, I was flying then too. Didn't worry about terrorist, but I did worry about other pilots.

From what I can tell most terrorism experts from around the world think this is about the dumbest thing our people have ever come up with. This will do very little to deter or stop terrorism.

I'm not flying anymore till the airlines start making good money again.
Cutting corners to stay in business is not good when dealing with something like flying.
My last trip was just plain scary

Airplane = 500,000 parts connected to form a plane...all parts made by the lowest bidder. :help:

My step kids flew in from New Mexico on Chistmas day. I am guessing that their return trip will be vastly different.

I have not flown in a long time. Dont really like it anyway.

I agree with you Bill.I have flown in about everything the military had up until 1968 and also jumped out of them for 6 yrs.But since then I have refused to fly.If I can't get there by driving I don't need to be there.Same by a ship,I spent 28 days on a troop carrier(USS Brekinridge) and aint gonna go that route no more either.
