Need some fast ideas on how to reverse a suprise party

I think ive figured out that my wife and some friends have been putting together a suprise party for me today. I'm pretty sure my buddy who I have a fun ford/Chevy rivalry with is going to ask mento come help him with his "broke down Chevy" knowing full well I can't turn that opportunity down.

Wife is already set to head out to " run some errands", and I've been making it difficult on her already, saying I want to stay home, or go skydiving again, drink beer the rest of the day (not able to drive) .. Etc.

I'm thinking of trying to tell my friend that my truck won't start when he calls.....

Any other ideas to make this fun besides just going along with it ?

Simple , tell him the cows are out and your so pissed off that they next person that wants something today will tote a azz whooping.

If it were me, and I had an idea what they were up to, I would try to figure out the time they want to start, and then go tractor shopping, or pick up a few things at box farmer store, maybe get a snack, just kill some time. And not answer the phone when they get in a panic and cant' find me. Show up maybe a fashionably hour late.

Maybe when he calls I can say I'm headed right over. Then 15 minutes later say my truck won't start. Then just show up. I know where it's supposed to be. But I don't want to hurt my wife's feelings over her efforts either. Lol

I just pulled a fuse that makes my truck turn over but won't start. When he calls I'll tell him I'm on the way. Then call him back and let him listen to the truck not firin off. Make them sweat it a little. :lol:

I do know this, don't brag too much how you knew about it the whole time, my wife sure didn't appreciate that after all her hard work, even though she left way too many openings in her game plan. :hide:

Good point. I'll wait to the end to let out the fact I knew. Like clockwork, his son called and said his dad was stuck and no one else could pull him out. I'm laughing and they think it's because I get to pull him out haha. Headed there now, makingy wife drive because I told her I had too many beers. Lol. Shoulda seen her face when the truck wouldn't start.

What a fun night. All my best friends and family. The reverse went off well with out any feelings hurt and a lot of laughs. Got a bunch of ammo and shine to go though now too. it's time to cap the night off for now
