Hey guys Iwas wondering where I can get a shutoff switch for my stock tank in my pasture. All it is is a simple switch with a float that goes up an down to turn the pump jack on an off according to the level off the tank. I have a square D on my one stock tank an it works well. On this one the switch is getting pretty old an needs to be replaced. Can I order this online somewhere. Nobodyaround here carries it. Thanks for any help.

Many moons ago I built one with a toilet float, a bracket made from plumbers strap and a regular switch. Drilled a hole through the handle of the switch and ran the rod from the float up through the hole. Put split bolats above and below the hanlde so it would turn on and off.

Thanks for the help. Sounds like it would work fine. Ill probably end up an buy a new switch though. Anybody else have ideas where to buy one. Maybe I should post this somewhere else if it would get more responses. I am not familiar with this board so tell me where I should post this. Somebody must have an answer to my question. Thanks for an help.
