I need some quick advice on doing an A.I. slightly off of the timing schedule. Because of my work schedule I can't be johnny on the spot for the timed protocol. This is for A.I. on cows. I am using the standard 7 day CIDR protocol Co Synch. I plan to give a shot of GNRH at 7:00 pm tonight and insert the CIDR. On 8/10 at 7pm I will administer a shot of lute and remove the CIDR. By the protocol I should A.I. at 11:00 a.m. on 8/13 but I wont be able to until about 3 pm. How much difference will the 4 hours make in conception %. I don't have lights down at the corral or I would do the 1st two steps at 11 pm. I could probably push the 1st two steps to the 8 pm area and that would make me be late to A.I. by 3 hours. Any thoughts? Will the 3 or 4 hours be a deal breaker?
