Alright mechanics, need help on troubleshooting our FEL controls. On my TS110, I have what is, to us, the fancy monoblock joystick controller, which is real nice. However, all of a sudden there are times where the up/down is stiff, so stiff you need ALL your strength to push it up or down at times. It also doesnt return to center when this happens. To be clear, this joystick is controlling cables that run to the actual hydraulic block. Whats causing my issue, the controller, the cables, the block? My dad believes its tied to the cold, but I dont buy it.

Have you inspected the valve to see of you have ice/snow built up around it?

Take the cables off the valve and move the joystick and see what happens.

If still stiff then you probably have moisture in the cable or joystick and it's frozen.

It the cable moves free then you have a problem in the valve.

My Maxum125 at work the hydraulic cables will not work till tractor warms up. On warm days sometimes have to spray block to make them work smoothly. Use all 3 controls on batwing

Make sure you fix the cause of problem, not just the symptom. I had a Bush Hog loader that did that one time, ended up smearing RTV around the rubber gaskets where the cables terminated at the valve block on loader. They were just loose enough that water would find its way in and get down in the cables. Spraying a liberal amount of WD-40 down in the cables will help displace water as well.
