Need a show box.

I am looking for a show box for my 9y/o daughter. This is her first year in 4-H and she is very excited about getting in the show ring. We have 2 Sept 06 angus heifers that we are starting out with. Does anyone here have a show box ect that they would like to part with? We are starting from scratch with show eq, and as I look at new it is kinda pricy as you all well know. Thanks alot.

Where are you located in EC Illinois? I'd advice you to not get caught up in the buying frenzy of show equipment. We used a drop in black plastic truck box when just starting (not a rail mounted tool box), worked great. We have an aluminum medium box now and it's just fine. I'm near Rantoul, the black box is in the shed, leave your email if interested.

somebody talked about show boxes earlier. i tried a search on it but i didnt get nothing. they were talking about a rubbermaid tool box or something like that. there alot cheaper and last forever.

We started out with a grey rubbermaid tool box and it worked great. I think it was around $50. I wouldn't jump in too much on the show equip unless you know she will be doing it for awhile.

We bought a new box from Lowes. It's black and comes with a lock and key. It's a nice hard durable plastic box that is not to heavy to lift.
