I for one appreciate the above mentioned special advisory that arrived by e-mail this morning from NCBA. It advises members that many cattlemen in the Southeast are still in major trouble over drought conditions and eventhough some rain has fell in certain areas, conditions are still bad and some sell off is beginning for whole herds of good cattle. The e-mail gives contact names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the state cattlemen's association in some of the hardest hits states. Those of you in the West that have been through this understand the options. I thought last year was bad but it appears that it is just beginning for 2007.
