WE all know who I picked , but realistically I just do not know. They both are amazing ,and I do like cousin Carl too, but I really want Tony to win .

I think it is anyone's to win, but who's is it to lose it. ;-) Pit stops and choices on taking 2, 4 or no tires are going to be key in this one .

It is going to be a heck of a race ; I do know that for sure ! :banana:
 
I'll be pulling for Smoke but for some reason would have to bet on Cousin Carl. I feel like he's due.

On a side note wonder how long it will take Matt Kenseth to hunt down Brian Vickers and take him out?? :lol2:
 
I agree with ISO, I will take carl,not sure anyone has been hotter than smoke in the chase,but Carl has kept with him step for step, and Edwards has a good record at Homestead.TB as far as vickers goes,he is nothing but a never has been, he took Matt out of it at Martinsville and said he would do it again, we seen what he did at Phoenix and Nascar did nothing about it, but parked Kyle for taking out Hornaday in the truck race :roll:

Absolutely....I kept waiting to see what was going to happen and they did absolutely nothing. Then Vickers came out with some BS about Kenseth just shutting it down in front of him. Good thing Vickers hit him cause they way he speeded up I don't think he could have made the corner if he hadn't hit Matt. Nothing but a payback. Oh well.....Vickers will probably be driving a taxi next year anyway.

I don;t like it when they intentioanlly wreck someone. Maybe the "Boys have at" will be changed next year to "Boyws have at, but don;t be some dam obvious about it"

Same here. I like both of 'em. I'm just glad old whinning ass JJ is otu of the running. Should be a good race. What what the tie breaker is if they both finish in positions that has them tied in points at the end of the race??

Tied in points Tony wins. First tie breaker is number of wins in the season. Wouldn;t even matter if it was number of wins in the chase.
 
Is it only season wins ? Tony didn't win any in the season ,Carl won 1 . If it includes the chase then Tony would win .. Now you have me confused again Dun. :lol:

It's total wins in the whole 36 race season. That's why if it was just the chase he would still win. The mental mastubation of what ifs is fine, but it isn;t going to come down to that. One of them will win it outright.
Stenhouse winning the championship yeaterday really tickled me. All he had to do was finish 37th and he would win. But he went out and raced his nuts off for the entire race. Only thing that would have made it better would have been him winning the race too, which he almost did.
 
My head tells me Carl, and that will be fine.
If I was a betting man and if I had a dollar, I'd put it on Tony. It has been an incredible run for him and I think he has one more in there.
