 not a good picture but who cares.

will post the answer later.

Cow looks like a lim head but I couldn't say the same about the rear.

the cow looks like angus or brangus.her frame looks to small for limi blood in her.then again her calf has horns.unless my eyes or tricking me.scott

yeah, he has horns. come on guys and gals, this one is a piece of cake!

(talk about obvious!)

you got the bout due to wean part right! she's 9 but 7 is pretty close...
The black cow is 10, also bout due to wean...

First picture - Angus X Jersey cow with Limousin calf

2nd picture - Gelbvieh cross cow (couldn't see enough of calf to decide).

My guess is Black Limi/Dairy cow cross on the first one.

Second I would say is Limi/Jersey cross. On the second one also I would say that teenager shouldn't be sucking its mom either!

First picture.
Cow is angus/holsteinx
Calf is by a Lim bull

Second cow could be a red Lim cross, especially as the calf looks like a 3/4 red Lim.
Flaboy, I bet that red calf is no more than 250 days old.

Yeah at 250 days it is WAY too old to be still on its mom. Then again mine are gone at 180 days or sooner. That is just me though. If ya have the forage to sustain the cow/calf for taht period more power to ya.

First set cow looks like hols frame and black angus.2nd looks like hard to see but angus and brangus 3rd cow part ugly part limo.but nice calf better pull it off before she completley disappears ;-)

What is wrong with leaving a calf on the cow for 7 or 8 months? What else has that cow got to do besides raise a calf? Dairy cows are expected to lactate for 10+ months. Why should a beef cow get 1/2 year off?
