Had the first calf for the year. Saturday with a high of 58 but was not going to cut it, so she decided to have it when it was 40 with a cold wet wind. You know perfect calving weather! :shock: :roll:
Out of PB Simmy Bull, and 3/4 Angus Cow

I hate when the other ones pester them like that. Move on show is over. Nice calf BTW.
 
Yes it sure is a pain, and if she would of warned me I would of already had her penned up, but I got her penned up now for the night.

hard to beat on a hamburger.... ive got a few ugly black calves on the ground to.. their harder to look at than the reds.. atleast for the first month or so

Thanks, they do look odd among the white cattle but this year I should haven't anything but black and red since i'm using a red simmy.
