My little girl is growing up

My little girl isn't so little anymore. I really enjoy going for a ride with her, now that it's spring(ish) we can get out a bit more. I'm using the excuse that she needs to leg her horse up for rodeo season, but really it's great father daughter time that I will cherish forever.

We put down our 34 year old Quarter horse mare just shy of 2 years ago, with the exact same blaze. Sad day in the neighborhood.

Enjoy every second my baby is 37 I swear I don't and my oldest will be 40 on his next birthday.....time sure flys. You have a beautiful daughter and your making beautiful memories. Being able to spend quality time is such a blessing!

I will always cherish the memories I have of taking rides with my dad just like this. Countless hours spent checking fence, moving cows and talking politics (my old man was a history buff, so talking politics came naturally). Lunch was almost always fried potatoes and eggs and coffee, while laughing at the morons on Judge Judy. Afternoons spent ponying him on anything super rank, doing round pen work while Chris LeDoux blared from the speakers in the barn...
