Animals all look good and well taken care of. You should be proud. Good to see a young lady keeping up the tradition.
Thank you that means alot♥

I agree with Kenny. You are a good girl and you take good care of your livestock.

For what it's worth the white heifer is the best of the bunch.....Keep up the good work.

It's good that your spending plenty of time with them, but you need to find someone who knows what they're doing and have them get you on a feed plan. Those calves need feed and lots of it.

The steer should have weighed over 1300. A heifer with that frame size should weigh 15-1600. I wasn't directing anything towards the lamb.

Your weights are OK especially the heifer.

If your goal was to breed the heifer to have calves and then have her be able to raise them, than her weight is perfect, if your goal was to win shows with her and not care about her ability to reproduce than she is about 200 pounds under weight.

The steer, he needed to be pushed more when he was younger, he may not have gotten as tall, and he may have hit 1250 or better if fed different. Then not knowing his history, you may have gotten everything out of him you could have.

You seem to be doing your best and taking very good care of all your animals.

Good job.

I will admit that i should have fed my steer better, but he was my first bovine.
So it was a real learning experience, win or lose, didn't matter.
But he was extremely tall, if he had been a little shorter he would've looked much better.
Look at the first picture I'm 5'00" exactly and he was as tall as me and a little more.

I'm glad that you did well with your lamb.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I forget, what grade will you be in this fall?
