Season opens Monday everything is fair game again in the deer woods.
Muzzle loader season has become my favorite as all the Houston crowd has quit for the season.
To anyone else who enjoys the smoke poles good luck.

I killed my buck with my bow a while back, but my 9 year old is still determined to get his buck. We’ll be going out in the morning, supposed to be a balmy 2 degrees f. Bought the boys a new muzzleloader this week, excited to have one that won’t rust if I breath on it.

Does anyone know...is it legal to have a center-fire rifle and a muzzleloader in the stand during muzzleloader season.?

On your own land I would think it’s okay. I would still check with a GW.
This is kinda like carrying buckshot squirrel hunting in my book, it’s legal on your land it’s illegal on a lease.
