Woke up this morning, and I was having my coffee on the back porch. Our new steer we picked up a month ago was near the fence and suddenly turned and fell on the five strand and hotwire. I guess the hotwire threw him for a loop. Now I get to restretch that section of fence. So, I check him out, all Is good and I go to work. My lovely wife sends me a picture of Booger, inside the hay ring. Must be something in the air making them escpecially stupid today

Booger looks like he is ready to see the freezer, so he is making it more of a challenge for you. :)

He's getting there, but still has a ways to go. Wish I had a set of scales, but my best guess is he's about 550

he is 1 crazy steer lolol.he looks like he weighs about 750lb to me.but then again im looking at him in a hay ring.

Cattle are mind readers. When you are thinking they wont do something they're reading your mind and go and show you they can. :) :)

Yup, once he is out of the hay ring he is alot smaller. Are you graining him also? Guess you have a couple of months of chasing him out, cause once they learn they keep on going in. :lol2:

Only grain he has gotten fo far was when he got into the barn and got into a bag of hog feed. I'll keep him on grass, hay and cubes till he gets to about 900 or 1000 and then finish him
